We Value Biblical Exposition - 2 Timothy 2:15
Work so God can approve you.  Be a good worker, one who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly explains the word of truth.

We value and esteem the Bible as the foundation of maintaining spiritual health and its position as the central, focal point of every sermon and teaching.  Expository preaching, its meaning and implications, is the solo food for our spiritual.  We value New Generation Baptist  Church as the place where all the sufficient and infallible Gospel of Jesus Christ is preached to the power of salvation.  Teaching is biblical, sin is condemned, and worship is Spirit-filled.

We Value Christian Education - Matthew 6:33
But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will added to you.

We value Jesus' exaltation through biblical preaching and teaching.  We acknowledge a need to grow and develop a close relationship with Him.  We are committed to learn regularly from the Word of God as a church community, so as to be transformed by His Spirit.

We Value Evangelism - Matthew 28:19
Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.

As Christians we value every person, as does God.  We value the command to reveal and expose Christ to the unsaved.  At New Generation Baptist Church, we value being the "fragrance of Christ to God among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing."  2 Corinthians 2:15.  Evangelism, our primary cause, along with discipleship (Christian Education) is at the core of our ministry.

We Value Godly Leadership - 1 Thessalonians 5:12
Now we ask you, brothers, to respect those who work hard among you, who are over you in the Lord and who admonish you.

We value Christ as the head of the church and the mediation He has given to Biblically qualified elders.  We value leadership that exemplifies obedience, a love for God, and a willingness to shepherd God's people according to biblical pattern.  While we value Godly leadership, we as a congregation hold ourselves to a standard that is likewise pleasing to God.

We Value Prayer - Acts 2:42
They joined with the other believers and devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and fellowship, sharing in the Lord's Supper and in prayer.

We express our dependency of God through personal and corporate prayer and believe that we will receive what we ask for as according to His will.  We value modeling and teaching the development of personal and corporate prayer patterns so that the congregation can express them to God and receive from Him.

We Value Stewardship of Money, Time and Talents - 2 Corinthians 9:7
Every man according as he purposes in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God love a cheerful giver.

We desire to share cheerfully as the Bible declares.  We all have something to offer; our money, our time, and our gifts of service.  Valued stewardship is demonstrated to our immediate family, community, and others.

We Value Unity - 1 Corinthians 12:12-14
For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ.  For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.  For the body is not one member, but many.

We value the building of strong, lasting, personal relationship with the Body of Christ.  We value the gifts and abilities that are used for the benefit of the body of Christ.  We value the diversity so as to respect the "lane" we run in.  In that place, we will perform our God given duties.
